Dave Dryden graduated from Iowa State University in 1988 with a degree in graphic design. His 26-year career, the majority of which has been in higher ed, has taken him from Minneapolis, back to Iowa State to his current position at Clemson.

Dave serves as the director of Creative Services. His 30-member staff is focused on both traditional and new media including interactive, video, and experiential design. They focuses heavily on admissions recruiting, alumni, and development projects.

Dave has been a member of UCDA since 1990. He is an emeritus member and has served multiple terms on the Board of Directors. He has chaired two annual conferences, design competition, CASE/UCDA Design Institute and helped host two workshops.

He is a strong believer in the mission of UCDA and believes his current role on the UCDA Foundation Board of Directors can help to protect and preserve UCDA far into the future.
