Doc Reed is a full-time, in-house creative who also moonlights under the moniker Reedicus, an illustration and design studio. Growing up on creators like Walt Disney, Chuck Jones, Maurice Nobel, and Norman Rockwell, Doc finds inspiration in the light-hearted and humorous, and his well-crafted designs are marked with his signature, stylized splash of brilliant color. Doc’s love for crafting illustrations and storytelling comes first, while utilizing design to connect with the world around it.
“Stay Wild” was born out of Doc’s desire to live a life that brings wonder into the 9-to-5 office cubical. Not so long ago, people interacted with the world around them in a state of awe and intrigue. “Stay Wild” is a mantra to put away the computer and engage with the world, to be open to new adventures. A challenge posed to creatives to interact with the world so that, when the time comes, they can craft better and more creative solutions.
Doc currently works and operates in Charlotte,
North Carolina.
