The UCDA Essential Series are 60- or 90-minute webinars on timely and relevant topics for creative professionals both in and out of the educational arena. UCDA offers live webinars or they can be viewed on-demand.

CREATIVE CONVERSATIONS
Creative Conversations is a UCDA initiative providing members with opportunities to discuss relevant topics that impact higher education designers. Creative Conversations happen monthly via Zoom, and the topics are chosen by members for members.

ELEVATING BLACK DESIGN VOICES
UCDA inspires designers working in academia in North America and around the world by delivering relevant programming and benefits in a personal and thoughtful way. The organization provides for the professional and personal growth of its members, and advocates for designers’ and educators’ roles within their institution.
UCDA works to elevate the importance of design overall as well as working toward elevating Black design voices.

DESIGN EDUCATION CONVERSATIONS
Design Education Conversations is an initiative UCDA has started after hearing from our members that you want more opportunities to commune with your fellow educators, so we plan to hold these conversations periodically via Zoom on various topics that are meaningful to our community. MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
The UCDA mentorship program is exclusive to UCDA members! We completed our pilot program in 2022 and have held it annually. Participation is first come, first served. The next program is tentatively scheduled for late-2023 or 2024.
