HIGHLIGHTS
Mark Gallo and his team at Traina Design recently conpleted the new Brooklyn Brewery website.
Brooklyn Brewery pulls inspiration for their eclectic flavors from the diverse culture of their namesake borough. Though this vibrant culture was reflected in their packaging and products, their website had fallen behind. The site was built on an outdated platform, which was limiting their brand growth and opportunities for engagement. Traina was enlisted to help reimagine what the site could be, and deliver a modern, functional site that reflected the true personality of the brand.
Traina began with an adult fo the current site for both UX and accessibly, and took a deep dive into the brand, the products, and the people who make them. What they discovered was not only a fantastic organization who cares deeply about their beer, but a wonderful culture rich with unique characters and stories.
A bold, clever and friendly tone was applied to the copy and visual identity of the site, with an immersive photographic feel that helps users get a genuine feel for what it means to visit the brewery, and experience Brooklyn. They created a (somewhat tongue-in-cheek) beer finder tool that helps users discover new beers from the Brooklyn family. Traina also included video interviews, recipes and stories from their legendary brewmaster, included new pages for Visit, Tours and Private events, as well as a history of the brewery to help create a unique connection to this one of a kind brewery.
