UCDA Statement on COVID-19
UCDA is committed to the health and well-being of our members, who value a supportive community of creative professionals. In normal circumstances, our members are eager to meet with their peers to exchange ideas, learn from each other, and advocate for designers’ and educators’ roles within their institution—an eagerness that some are now balancing with concerns about the COVID-19 virus.
UCDA continues to monitor the rapidly changing situation related to COVID-19. As the spread of COVID-19 continues, we are sensitive to the concerns of our members and program participants, and will do everything we can to make all interactions safe, welcoming, and comfortable.
While we are not in a position to recommend a specific course of action for travel to upcoming events, we are committed to maintaining all appropriate sanitary, health, and safety measures and encourage attendees to follow recommended guidelines by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.
We know that what makes UCDA great is YOU and the ability to meet face-to-face, so we are committed to providing best-of-quality experiences for all of our programming. If there are any changes to event schedules, we will provide information to registrants about virtual options that may be available and/or other specific details.
