Sean CartonSean is the Chief Creative Officer of idfive where he helps clients understand the constantly changing intersections between design, marketing, communication, and technology.

As the founder of one of Baltimore's first Web development firms in 1995, the founding Dean of the School of Design and Media at Philadelphia University, and the co-author of one of the first books about the Web (The Mosaic Quick Tour series) in 1993, Sean has over 12 years experience designing, developing, planning, and executing interactive media.

During his career he has led the development of hundreds of projects for clients such as Rubbermaid, Armstrong, The US Department of Health and Human Services, The Johns Hopkins University, Maryland Institute College of Art, iRobot, The Discovery Travel Channel, University of Michigan, University of Maryland, The American Institute of Architects, and the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation.

In addition to his creative and consulting work, Sean has published 8 books about the Internet, technology, business, and video games and writes regular columns for ClickZ.com (the leading online advertising industry Web site) and Publish.com as well as contributing to magazines such as Wired, Revolution, Stim, and POV. Sean is a sought after public speaker on issues of marketing, technology, and the Internet and has delivered keynote addresses to organizations such as EDUCAUSE, the Florida Telecommunications Industry Association, and the American Marketing Association in the US as well as to organizations in Italy and the UK.

Sean's work for clients has been recognized with numerous awards including a Webby (the "Academy Award" of the Web), One Show, and the New York Art Director's Club awards.

Domenica GenoveseDomenica Genovese, partner, directs the creative product at GCF, a Baltimore-based firm that specializes in marketing communications for education. The firm’s design portfolio is a product of her passion for fresh ideas and innovative thinking.

Domenica's work has been recognized by the AIGA, Communications Arts Magazine, Print Magazine, Graphis Magazine, Graphis Brochure, Graphis Logo, UCDA, and CASE where she was named Designer of the Year. She has given presentations and led seminars at national and regional marketing and design conferences and has served as a juror for design competitions sponsored by AIGA, Communications Arts Magazine, and UCDA. She is editor of GCF's online newsletter, Cram Quarterly.

Domenica is a graduate of the Accademia di Belle Arti in Perugia, Italy. She is a founding board member of the Baltimore Chapter of the AIGA and taught for 12 years in the Graduate Program of Communication Design, University of Baltimore.

Ellen LuptonEllen Lupton is a designer, writer, curator, and educator. She is the author of numerous books, including "Thinking with Type," "D.I.Y.: Design It Yourself," "D.I.Y. Kids," "Indie Publishing: How to Design and Produce Your Own Book," and "Graphic Design: The New Basics." She is director of the Graphic Design MFA program at MICA, and she is curator of contemporary design at Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in New York City. She knows how to sweat the little stuff, and she will talk about design to anyone who will listen.

Currently Amy Hollomon serves as Account Manager for Email Marketing at Blue Sky Factory, an industry leading email service provider headquartered in Baltimore, MD with offices across the country. She assists with email campaign development, implementation and campaign tracking and reporting. Prior to joining Blue Sky Factory, Amy served as an Email Marketing Associate at Internet Strategy Group, assisted Whitmore Group in marketing and business development in Annapolis, MD and served as Marketing Manager at VBP OutSourcing in Glen Burnie, MD.

At present, Amy administers the professional networking group, B'more Creatives, a group for creative professional women in and around the world of design. In addition to this group, she sits on the boards of AIGA Baltimore and the Stevenson University Alumni Board. She also assists with Koffee Talk, a professional networking group for marketing and sales professionals.

Amy attended Villa Julie College where she studied Visual Communication Design and earned a Bachelors degree. Her core expertise includes graphic design, visual communication and online media and marketing. In her personal time, Amy enjoys travel, catching up on industry news and meeting new people.
