- ASSOCIATION OF REGISTERED GRAPHIC DESIGNERS OF ONTARIO
The Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario (RGD Ontario) is the self-regulatory, professional body for graphic designers in Ontario. The association grants graphic designers who qualify the right to use the designations Registered Graphic Designer and R.G.D., a quality signal of standards of professional practice. The Association is a non-profit organization, with a mandate to serve the best interests of both the graphic design industry and the public in Canada. The association has approximately 2800 members.
Their Vision
The Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario's vision is to drive the continuous development of professional graphic design by shaping the strategic leadership competencies of R.G.D.s to optimize the performance of enterprises and to serve the public in an ethical manner.

- SOCIETY OF GRAPHIC DESIGNERS OF CANADA
The Society of Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC) is Canada's national graphic design association. It is a member-based organization of design professionals, educators, administrators, students, and associates in communications, marketing, media and design-related fields.
The Society has been an advocate, voice and resource for Canada's graphic design profession since 1956. The GDC maintains a national certified body of graphic designers and promotes high standards of graphic design and ethical business practices, for the benefit of Canadian industry, commerce, public service and education.

The Society of Illustrators, founded in 1901, has had a long and distinguished history. The Society's involvement in illustration, contributions to community service and student scholarship, annual exhibitions and recognition of the greats in the field of Illustration, welfare fund and stand on legal issues, sketch classes, lecture series and social gatherings support our mission and commitment to support the field of illustration- past, present and future..
Mission
The mission of the Society is to promote the art and appreciation of illustration, as well as its history and evolving nature, and to encourage high ideals through exhibitions, lectures, education, and by fostering a sense of community and open discussion.
